Accomplishments for 2003

Don authored Chapter 7, Implementing Leave No Trace, during the updating of the Boy Scouts of America Field Book and reviewed the entire manuscript prior to printing for correct application of Leave No Trace information throughout the manual.

Developed and submitted an official proposal that only young men should be on staff in the nature awareness area of The Outdoor Adventure Place on future Boy Scout of America national venues.  Proposal was approved.

Recruited and initiated development of young men capable of training participants at national Boy Scout of America venues. 

Ray Cook and Bill Wagner received the William T. Hornaday Gold Badge for their conservation efforts.

The nature awareness and conservation message reached 44,735 people during 2003.
