Accomplishments for 2005

Don Gale, Ray Cook and Bill Wagner organized The Center for Responsible Outdoor Activities and Recreation (ROAR).  ROAR was organized to extend nature awareness programs to all interested youth groups and their leaders and was approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (C)3 nonprofit corporation in September.

Developed a quality website for ROAR at www.tcfroar.org.

Youth served as staff at High Uinta Wilderness Camp teaching youth and their adult leaders important nature awareness skills and ethics.

Youth staff taught youth of all ages at Jake Days sponsored by the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Ray Cook, Bill Wagner and Don Gale attended a course and became Tread Lightly! Master Tread Trainers.

Don Gale attended a course to qualify to teach Project WILD curriculum.

Ray Cook attended a course to became an official course director for Leave No Trace Master Educator courses.

The nature awareness and conservation message reached 44,394 people during 2005.
